Harifen Pasta in Rice Form PKU is a low-protein rice substitute for people with phenylketonuria (PKU). The product looks and behaves like rice — it’s cooked the same way — but has a much lower phenylalanine content than regular rice, making it safe for the PKU diet.
A great solution when a child with PKU wants to eat „rice” together with the rest of the family. It can be served as a side dish, in soups, or as a base for risotto. The large 500 g pack is enough for many meals.
